ICAW Breeder Show Offers Valuable Insight into Indiana Operations

Petland’s Animal Welfare Team participates in numerous breeder shows across the Midwest. Here, the team included Petland corporate veterinarians Drs. Rebecca Atwood and Sarah Hettinger, along with Brian Winslow, Executive Director, and Chris Heiskell, Director of Animal Welfare and Breeder Relations.

“Having our veterinarians speak to breeders, distributors and other veterinarians is invaluable,” said Winslow. “Prior to the show, we participated in a breeder trip to see some of the great improvements and best practices occurring in the breeder world.”

Petland’s animal welfare team spend a great deal of time and energy in the field, working to advance our organization and industry.
