Critical to this will be the establishment of a universal standard for animal welfare that ensures breeders put their puppies’ health and wellness above all else. In this effort, Petland Charities is a leading supporter of Purdue University’s groundbreaking Canine Care Certification program. It is currently the gold standard for animal welfare, with certification criteria that is above and beyond existing state and federal regulations.
Petland regularly participates in breeder shows and meetings across the country to educate breeders on the importance of the Canine Care Certification and share actionable information for joining the program.
